I trained with The International Institute of Reflexology. This entitles me to be a member of the Association of Reflexologists who promote the professional standards of Reflexology to the highest level. Although the profession is self regulated, when you see the initials IIR MAR you know that the practitioner is a professional adhering to a strict code of conduct, holds a current first aid certificate and is fully insured.I am registered with CNHC Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council. info@cnch.org.uk
I am committed to Continuing Professional Development (CPD). This means I continue to develop my skills by attending courses and lectures in the field of Reflexology.
I have attended a course on The Meridian Therapy run by Lillian Tibshraeny-Morten, who has worked with Dwight Byers. This course demonstrates the connection between the meridian points in our body (used in Acupuncture) and reflexology.
I have trained in Maternity Reflexology with Susanne Enzer who is the pioneering expert in this field. I have worked with a number of women throughout their pregnancy.
I have always taken an interest in Healing and Health, particularly in complementary medicine. Since my children left school I have been able to pursue this interest, and develop it into a working practice.
